Our Elder in Residence
Each term, Yanala welcomes a volunteer Elder in Residence to support our jarjums' cultural learning and connection.
Our Elders hold a current Working With Children Check and work closely with each class to share cultural knowledge, stories, language, and community values in a safe and meaningful way.
This initiative helps strengthen identity, belonging and intergenerational connection, keeping culture strong for our little ones.
