Kinship Support Group
Raising jarjums through kinship care is an act of love, strength and cultural responsibility but it can also be complex. Our Kinship Support Group offers a safe and understanding space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kinship carers to connect, share stories, and access meaningful support.

Whether you're a nan, pop, aunty, uncle or extended kin, you’re often holding it all managing the day-to-day care of our kids while navigating the grief and disconnection that can come with the breakdown of relationships with birth parents. This space acknowledges that reality and holds space for healing.

We yarn, listen, share resources and support each other because no one should feel alone in this journey.

Morning tea provided, come for the support, stay for the community.

When: 1st Friday of every month
Time: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
