Service Description

Designed for teams looking to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal culture, this 3-hour workplace program blends cultural education with meaningful interaction. Facilitated by Aboriginal educators, the session includes knowledge-sharing, yarning and optional creative activity. Suited for RAP working groups, staff PD, and community-facing teams. Choose up to 3 focus areas: Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Identity, Protocols & Respect in Practice Group Yarning Circle Art or Weaving Activity Bush Tucker Display & Knowledge Workplace Reflection & Cultural Safety Goals What’s included: 2 Aboriginal facilitators All activity materials supplied Interactive learning + practical cultural tools Travel within Greater Western Sydney 📍 Delivered at your workplace across Greater Western Sydney. Travel fees may apply outside this area. Choose up to 3 activity blocks per session: Cultural Awareness for Kids & Teens Aboriginal Art & Storytelling (painting, symbols) Language & Traditional Knowledge Bush Tucker & Artefacts Demo Weaving or Symbolic Craft Healing & Connection (justice-specific) Leadership & Identity (teens) What’s included: 1–3 Aboriginal facilitators All art and activity materials supplied Flexible group rotations (e.g. 3 x 45-min activities) Content adapted to suit age/stage Travel included within Greater Western Sydney 📍 Available at your school or service across Greater Western Sydney. Travel fees may apply beyond this area.
