About the Role
Position Description – Quality Assurance Reviewer
The Quality Assurance Reviewer supports the CEO in reviewing staff performance to ensure SRAC meets key deliverables and maintains a focus on continuous quality improvement.
This role is responsible for monitoring legislative compliance, managing risk processes, handling all complaints and incident registers, and assisting all SRAC business areas in accreditation and review requirements. The Reviewer will work closely with the CEO to develop and maintain a Quality Work Plan, aligned with practice and governance standards, and informed by internal feedback, evaluation, and planning.
The position is also responsible for identifying, recording, and coordinating the delivery of objectives outlined in the Quality Work Plan. This includes gathering staff and client feedback across SRAC’s range of programs, and within the broader Aboriginal community in Western Sydney.
The Quality Reviewer also manages all escalated complaints—from both external stakeholders and staff—and ensures timely resolution in line with SRAC’s Complaints Policy.
Requirements
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, compliance, or service auditing
Understanding of the National Standards for Disability Services and relevant legislation
Proven ability to manage complaints, incidents, and registers with confidentiality and integrity
Strong skills in evaluation, feedback collection, and continuous improvement processes
High-level written and verbal communication skills, including reporting to executive leadership
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and record management systems
Commitment to Aboriginal community-controlled principles and cultural safety
Lived experience or strong knowledge of the Aboriginal community in Western Sydney
Qualifications in Quality Management, Community Services, Risk Management, or related field
Experience working in a not-for-profit, community, or Aboriginal organisation
Knowledge of accreditation processes (e.g. NDIS, Aged Care)
